Program Description:

TECHO NL is a non-profit organization dedicated to overcoming poverty in informal settlements through the joint action of volunteers and community members.

On December 6 and 7, co-jefes will engage in a hands-on building project aimed at constructing 20 emergency housing for families in need. This two-day initiative will involve assisting in the management a group of 7 volunteers in assembling and securing the structures, working alongside the community to provide safe and dignified living spaces.

Requirements:

Open to students in grade 10 and 11

Participated in 1 A Roof in ASFM construction

Minimum Committed Learned Grade: 3.5

No disciplinary infractions

Program Fee 5,000 MXN

Fundraise at least 5,000 MXN

Use transportation provided by A Roof in ASFM

Bring your own construction kit: hammer, leveler, gloves

Important Note:

Due to the high demand for this program, priority will be given to students with no 'Co-Jefe' experience.
