TECHO NL Levantamiento - oct
Program Description:
TECHO is a non-profit organization that works across Latin America to fight poverty in informal settlements through the joint work of young volunteers and community members. Their mission is to create a fairer and more inclusive society by promoting community development, building emergency housing, and advocating for social change. Through listening to residents, gathering data, and collaborating on sustainable solutions, TECHO empowers communities and drives structural change from the ground up.
On Sunday, October 12 from 08:30 am to 6:00 pm, they will be hosting the Listening to Communities Initiative, where volunteers will visit 7 communities to listen to residents, collect valuable data, and help ensure that the voices of those living in informal settlements in Nuevo León are heard and understood.
