Program Description:

Apoya Tu Bosque Local is a non-profit organization based in Saltillo, Coahuila, dedicated to the recovery and conservation of forests through reforestation and community engagement. Since 2012, they have planted more than 60,000 trees to restore affected ecosystems in the region.

In this volunteer program, participants will join efforts in the ecological restoration of the Cañon Cienega near San Antonio de las Alazanas (1hr30min away from the city). The activity will take place on Sunday, September 21 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements:

This program has a 400 MXN fee (pine trees & transportation).

Wear sneakers and/or working boots, jeans and t-shirt.

Bring water bottle and snack.

Arrive at meeting point at 6:00am.
